EuroLink is an International Sales & Marketing Service Provider set up in 1997 by Mr. Joe Mannion. Unlike most other export management companies, EuroLink is based in its target market: Europe, and is run by a European. This allows for maximum success for clients seeking to gain distribution here.

This international marketing service provider is specialised in the DIY retail area, assisting DIY product manufacturers who are either seeking to enter Europe or to grow their European sales. On a smaller scale the company can provide tailored country- or area-specific assistance according to the needs of the client, as an agent or consultant. EuroLink also welcomes long term partnerships to act as the European Sales & Marketing office or Management of client companies.

From his own experience within this segment of the retail sector Mr. Mannion has seen and met many companies who, though significant players in their native/domestic DIY market, have failed to gain successful penetration in Europe. The cause of their failure in Europe is rarely lack of commitment or product quality, but rather a lack of market knowledge and contacts. Without an understanding of the differences between the various European markets, and how to correctly market their products here, these companies cannot succeed. EuroLink can get them over this hurdle, and win profitable incremental business for them.

Just some of our clients include/have included: the WC Bradley Company (grills, including Char-Broil, Thermos and the New Braunfels Smoker Company), Rainbird International (irrigation products), Zircon Corporation (electronic hand tools), Summit Brands (household cleaners), Better Living Products Inc (shower dispensers), Pro Products (water treatment chemicals, testers and soaps), and Leisuregrow (garden furniture & grills, including The Australian Barbecue Company and Beefmaster brands).

EuroLink work on behalf of clients has regularly brings us throughout Europe and the United States, and as far as Taiwan, while also covering far-away corners of Australia and South America. This has ranged from single country territories with hundreds of thousands of €uros in sales, up to tens of millions across a multitude of continents.

Prior to setting up EuroLink in 1997, Mr. Mannion held a series of demanding and challenging senior international management positions. Responsibilities have included: negotiating with major retailers throughout Europe; (re)constructing and managing sales organisations; developing marketing strategies and business plans; working with state aid agencies; new product development with international teams from Europe, the States and the Far East; market research; developing multi-country logistics bases; customer and sales staff training.

Mr. Mannion is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where he was awarded an honours B.A. Moderatorship degree in Modern Languages (German & French) with distinction for his spoken fluency, and later received a Masters degree from here. He is also a graduate of the Marketing Institute with whom he undertook the Graduateship degree in Marketing, combining his studies with his successful international marketing career. Mr. Mannion is fluent in German, French and Spanish and is at ease conducting business in all these languages. Having lived and worked in the UK, France, Germany, Spain & Portugal, he can combine a deep understanding of cultural and business differences with his expert knowledge of and contacts in the European retail environment.
