Protective Coating Company (also known most commonly as PC-Products), was founded in 1954 by John "Jack" Long. The company is family-owned for three generations now. For the majority of the 55 years of business, the product PC-7® Epoxy has been a significant key to the company's history and success. The PC-7® Bottle Display is an icon for the company throughout the Hardware and Paint Industry. The significance and popularity of this P.O.P. has enabled PC-Products to bring forth additional sales, product education, and has also created a large window of opportunity to promote the rest of the product line with additional P.O.P. Merchandisers.

PC-7® is one of PC-Products® defining epoxy formulas. The permanent paste epoxy that PC-Products manufactures received its foundation with PC-7 and lead to others such as PC-11® & PC-SuperEpoxy®.

PC-Products® also manufactures an industry-leading selection of Hand-moldable putty epoxies such as PC-Plumbing™ & PC-Fahrenheit™. These putty epoxy products are excellent for quick repairs in almost any emergency situation. The putty epoxy products all cure for service within 1 hour.

Wood Restoration is another major category where PC-Products® has excelled in offering consumers cutting edge technology for repairing damaged and rotted wood. PC-Products® offers 2 wood hardeners in PC-Petrifier® & PC-Rot Terminator®.

PC-Petrifier® is a water-based polymer that hardens and strengthens damaged wood in non-structural situations such as window sills, sashes, and door frames. The PC-Rot Terminator® is a structural wood hardener designed to strengthen decayed or rotted wood. This product is a low viscosity epoxy system that penetrates porous surfaces, filling and sealing voids in wood.

PC-Woody® is an Epoxy filler which is a true paste epoxy like PC-7®. This Epoxy is extremely flexible and durable, offering an ideal repair situation for a consumer using the wood hardeners to initially strengthen damaged wood, and follow up the repair by using PC-Woody® to fill in missing gaps and voids in the wood. This Wood repair system essentially is designed to bring damaged wood back to its original integrity.

PC-Products® also offers PC-Concrete™ for concrete repair and anchoring. PC-Concrete™ is a two component epoxy gel that is 3 times stronger than concrete. The most popular size with consumers is the 250ml cartridge, which conveniently can be used in a standard caulking gun for dispensing.

PC-Clear™ is the company's latest edition to the product line. Unlike all competition, PC-Clear™ is a completely clear liquid epoxy, formulated to remain clear during and after its curing time. This product is flexible, durable, and has a fast curing time.
