WORLDWIDE DIY COUNCIL ANNOUNCES PAVILION
AT INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR

The Worldwide DIY Council, North America's premier trade association for manufacturers seeking international sales in the hardware industry, is delighted to announce their participation at the International Hardware Fair in Cologne, Germany next March. The WDIYC Pavilion will be located in Hall 4.2 and feature a number of their member companies eager to increase export sales.

Says President of The Council, Jayne Seagrave: "This is the second time we've brought a number of our members together to exhibit in Cologne. The fact many were past exhibitors shows how important we think this event is for gaining contacts and sales in the international DIY Market". While the WDIYC Pavilion gives visitors direct access to member companies in a defined show segment, other members exhibit in industry-specific locations, or with their European distributors. Dr. Seagrave estimates that about 30% of WDIYC total membership has an involvement at this event.

In addition to exhibiting at the show itself, the WDIYC is planning an informal International Networking Reception for members, customers and friends, in the belief that a trip from North America to Cologne provides an excellent opportunity for contacts, both business and pleasure, to be made and built upon. "While the show is the main event, these additional networking activities are highly beneficial for companies in developing new global relationships and to grow their business. We're delighted to see the WDIYC participate at our show again in 2012" says Mette Petersen, President & Managing Director of Koelnmesse, Inc., the North American subsidiary of the show organizer.
