Zircon Corporation designs, develops, manufactures, and markets the largest selling line of high-technology, electronic hand tools for the do-it-yourself (DIY) consumer and professional tradesperson.

Company History

Founded in 1975, privately held Zircon Corporation began as a manufacturer of digital watches, and owned the Fairchild Channel-F video game division.
In 1980, Zircon established the wall scanning category with invention of StudSensor™, the world’s first electronic stud finder. Twenty-five years later and with 25 million units sold, Zircon remains the leader in technology and innovation. In 2004, Zircon introduced the very newest technology in wall scanning – CenterVision™ technology finds the center of studs with just one pass.

Zircon products have worldwide appeal and are currently available in 30 countries and the U.S. Zircon has full-time sales and marketing staff in Canada, Europe, and Japan.
